American Leadership Academy Elementary School K-6

March 13th, 2013

Hello ALA!

Spring is in the air and everyone here at ALA can't wait to enjoy the new spring weather and the beginning of our great 4th quarter.

This Elementary School page is the place to come when looking for general school information, schedules and announcements. Becoming familiar with this information will allow you as a parent  to stay highly engaged in what we do here at the school.   This home page, undoubtedly, does not contain every issue pertaining to the Elementary School, but we hope it will be helpful to you as a parent as we strive to educate your students together as a team!

Tomorrow, March 14th, the sixth graders will show off their skills at their annual talent show.  We bet they'll all do a great job!

March 15th,  1st grade will explore the natural world with a Gem and Rock show field-trip from 12:15-1:30.
In addition to the Gem and Rock show, March 15th will also be a fundraiser Dress Down Day. For $3 (or more) students can donate to programs aimed at alleviating poverty and dress down as a bonus!
Students are encouraged to wear as much Red as possible, to show solidarity with the cause.

Later this month, on March 28th,  our ALA 5th grade will take a look into the past with their Annual Renaissance Fair.

Looking forward into April, Spring Break will be from April 1st (no joke!) through the 5th.

We could never do all we do without your  support. Thank you for all you do to keep our ALA community such a safe, educational, and positive place.

As always, if you ever have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at
pcarpenter@americanleadership.net.
Sincerely,
Mr. Carpenter
