American Leadership Academy offers a broad range of academic classes, MATC opportunities and EdNet classes. American Leadership Academy allows students to take advantage of a small student-to-teacher ratio. With a current enrollment of over 1,600 students, American Leadership Academy is growing to meet the needs of our students.
American Leadership Academy also offers a broad range of extracurricular activities, ranging from Football, Basketball, Baseball and Soccer to Band, Choir, Orchestra and many other activities. Our sports teams participate in the 2A classification.
American Leadership Academy has a firm dress and discipline code, and all teachers are licensed through the Utah State Office of Education. ALA ENROLLMENT FOR 2012-2013
ALA is beginning the enrollment process for the 2012-2013 school year. The Intent to Re-Enroll forms are available below as PDF files, at the front desks of each school, and will be handed out to your students on January 2nd. All currently enrolled students need to turn in an Intent to Re-Enroll form by February 17th.
New student enrollment for the new school year begins January 2nd. The Wait List Application is available below and in the enrollment office in the Jr. High.
THE WINTER'S TALE COMES TO ALA
Don't miss ALA's first Shakespeare production! The Winter's Tale is a unique blend of comedy, tragedy and romance. It is the story of a royal family torn apart by jealousy but redeemed by love. Performances will be Friday Feb. 3 at 2:30 and 7:00, SaturdayFeb. 4 at 2:30 and Monday, Feb. 6 at 7:00pm. Tickets are available from a cast member or at the Junior High Front desk for $4 for students, $5 for adults, and $20 for an immediate family.
ALA THIRD ANNUAL DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE
The Choir Boosters and Choirs at ALA would like to invite you to the third annual DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE.
THEME: Rockin' Around the Clock (50's)
DATE: Saturday, January 28 TIME: 6:30 - 8:30pm
WHAT TO WEAR:
-Daughters: 50's Poodle Skirts or any dress from that time period.
-Dads: Jeans, t-shirts, lettermen jackets, or any outfit from that time period.

- 1 Dad + 1 Daughter = $15
- 1 Dad + 2 Daughters = $25
- 1 Dad + additional daughters = $5 per additional daughter after two

LA DRESS CODE DISCIPLINE CHANGES
There have been recent changes made to the Dress Code Discipline procedures as they apply to students attending American Leadership Academy. We ask all parents and students to become acquainted with them in the Director's Newsletter and Discipline Procedures documents below. The new discipline procedures will go into effect on Monday, January 9th, 2012.

ALA Parent Council is proud to sponsor the Inspirations Art Program again this year. Last year we had 5 students make it all the way to the state level competition! WOW! Let’s see if we can beat it this year. The Theme for 2011-2012 is “My Favorite Things", and the categories are:

BASKETBALL KIDS CAMP
Every Friday the High School basketball team will be hosting a basketball kids camp in the elementary gym. Junior Basketballers--the first class will be this Friday, Dec. 2 at 2:15pm. The kids will get to work with the players and coaches to get better at basketball.
The cost is $75 or $25 a month. It includes: - a t-shirt
- weekly skill development
- end of the year pizza party
- games during halftime of the girls and boys games
- a chance to be a ball girl or ball boy during our games
...and best of all it get kids interested in playing basketball.

New School Lunch Vendor We are changing our school lunch vendor because of poor food quality and poor service. Our new vendor will be viegourmet.com. You will have to go into their web site and re-register. Please put in all your information and when you get to the part that says school code...
